Our day started with giving Mr. Swain our Father's Day gift and singing in the hotel lobby. Then we started out for Calvary Baptist Church where Pastor Layne Lashley, a Crown graduate, has been serving since last August. It was good to see him and his family again! When we arrived, we also found Bethany Frederick, a fellow student, and many of her family members (including Janie Ross who sang in a Crown ladies' trio with her sister Melody Yates). Pastor Lashley preached a challenging message for Father's Day on families serving the Lord together.
We also enjoyed meeting the Leclercq family, missionaries on deputation to reach the people of Guam. It was interesting to hear God's plan for their lives as we enjoyed dinner at the church together.
Thank you, Pastor and Mrs Lashley, for your warm welcome, the wonderful accommodations, and the delicious home cooked dinner!

Great to see the Lashley's, so encouraging to see so many of the graduates going such a good job. What is it with the "ducks" no bath tub!!!
